Enthralling approach to reinvent a progressive "jazz'n-3rd-stream" that doesn't need to demonstrate muscles or virtuositiy. Very unusual but accomplished compositions, that remain digestable inspite of all complexities. Clear and very colourful sound - jazz4tet + string4tet + vox5tet !?!! Really ADORABLE. ROWIAL
"Wow!" is far too mild of an expletive to use when describing Myra Melford's Snowy Egret album, The Other Side of Air.(Though I am trying to keep this G rated, so it will have to suffice...) If you are a vinyl lover like me, grab it while you can. It IS a limited edition! 😎 Rick Mathis
